We
are living in a time of political and moral liberalism, a
falling stock market and uncertain economic times. On the
face it, circumstances for the future of our country and
even personal finances may look bleak and discouraging. But,
let us remember the words of Jesus quoted in John 18:36 "My
Kingdom is not of this world..."
We
have a spiritual and heavenly kingdom that far surpasses the
things of this life. When the enemy brings discouraging
thoughts and fear, consider that we are just pilgrims and
strangers on this earth. Let us be faithful to lay up
treasure in heaven and maintain the peace and joy of Christ
in our life. What a wonderful kingdom we posses in Jesus.
