"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13

I can. What a statement of faith and belief. Too many people limit their realm of influence and stunt any possibility for growth by saying "I can't" or "I could never...".

In this scripture, Paul accepts the fact that he is not self-sufficient. However, his faith lays hold on the measureless sufficiency of Christ.

There are heights that we will never gain if we stay in the earthly realms of our own abilities and securities. Step out in faith that where the voice of God leads, his grace will enable.

Cast aside your doubts and fears. Lay yourself on the altar and make yourself available to God. Much more would be accomplished today in the Lord's vineyard if those who professed His name would make themselves wholly available to be used by Him.

Do you fear leading out in public prayer because your words won't sound polished? Do you tremble to testify because your testimony isn't as good as another's? Do you shrink from some Christian service or calling because it would require you to exercize in a way that seems foreign to you?

Remember that settling for a mediocre existence at best means settling for a mediocre blessing. Do you have faith in God? Exercize that faith by saying "Through Christ, I can...and I will."
