know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts
of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
Jeremiah 29:11
What a
blessing it is to have someone tell us in love that "I was thinking
about you...." That means we were important enough to that person
for them to spend time and energy in thoughts of us. It is an even
greater blessing to know that God is thinking of us. There may be
times in life that you may feel alone and think that nobody really
cares or is concerned. God is thinking about YOU....
Although
God will one day stand as our final judge, He is not yet cutting
people off without mercy. God has you on His mind today and His
thoughts are of peace and love. God is thinking of you and thinking
of the wonderful blessings that you will experience if you yield and
surrender to Him.
God has
your best interests at heart. He is not looking on your situation
today with callousness. He is moved with love for the difficulty in
which you find yourself. Although you may see the bleakness of the
hour, God is looking beyond to the victory and blessing that
tomorrow holds for you if you follow His perfect plan for your life.
The Lord has an expected end at which He wants you to arrive.
As you go
about your business and the affairs of this life, remember that
someone is thinking about you. Someone is thinking thoughts of peace
and good will in your behalf. You are on the mind of our Lord and
Saviour.
